Commissioned by the 2009 Savannah Music Festival and premiered by violinists Daniel Hope and Lorenza Borrani, Alexandra du Bois' Chanson d'orage was toured by Southwest Chamber Music throughout Vietnam and Los Angeles during the 2010 Ascending Dragon Music Festival. Southwest Chamber music will present the work to Southern California audiences again during summer 2011.
